HOUR 1 - Poni not over Bengals loss, Jones jokes about Rodgers, Pat Narduzzi
Update: 2025-10-20
Description
A fiery start to the show because Poni still isn’t over the loss to the Bengals. Is it because he has to get his nipples pierced? He thinks this loss completely flipped his thoughts on the season. He had animus toward Donny and Chris for not jumping off the deep end 4 days after the loss. Are you over the Bengals loss yet?
Broderick Jones joked about tackling Aaron Rodgers.
Pitt head football coach Pat Narduzzi joined the show. Pat asked Poni about his jinxing abilities. The guys got Pat’s reaction to Poni having to get his nipples pierced following the Steelers loss to the Bengals. What went behind the QB change for the Panthers that turned their season around? Pat talked about Mason Heintschel and what the freshman brings to the table. Pat highlighted a play Mason made in the Florida State game and the leadership he has shown. Pat called James Franklin a great guy and said he called him after the news of his firing from Penn State. He said he and Franklin have a ‘great’ relationship and they have been on trips with each other over the years. Pat explained to the guys what he and his staff are allowed to do when players de-commit from schools, like the big area prospects that are no longer going to Penn State. Pat discussed the surface at Acrisure Stadium and why he felt a little bit guilty after Pitt beat Boston College a few weeks ago. He said he loves playing on grass and the players love it too, but something needs to be figured out. He told Ben Roethlisberger to call him if he has a problem with the field surface.
