In this episode, I talk to a Cancer Survivor, Crystal Howrie. After 30 years in the travel and tourism industry, Crystal experienced her own personal journey with cancer which has inspired her to start her own home-based travel agency and set up a cancer support charity called Blue Dot Army in 2013.

Blue Dot represents the permanent tattoo you require when receiving conventional radiation treatment.

Crystal met some incredible people during that time sitting in waiting rooms. She heard so many stories that touched her heart that she made a commitment to one day go back into that world and change the cancer experience for others.

The symbol chosen for Blue Dot Army is the butterfly, it represents change, endurance, hope, and life - all the things needed when diagnosed with Cancer.
