HSK student pod was created for all students in the School of Health and Social Work. This is a podcast series which covers a range of topics including keeping you up to date on what is going on in the school, useful tips and advice for getting ahead with your studies, and some special interest items with guest speakers.

• Third year students Rachel and her friends, Mia, Nuna and Elizabeth from the Learning disability nursing programme share a brief message with us that raises the awareness of Student led placements. They briefly share some of their experiences during their student led placements and also give some tips that can help other students who are looking for Student led placements
This month's profession spotlight: (11:40 – 26:54 )
• Becky Scott, the Library and Computing Services Information Manager for the School of Health and social work shares a brief message letting us know about some of the Key services the LRC offers to students.
• She also informs us about some of the ways in which the LRC works with staff. Her message is very important especially during this time when we are just starting the new academic year.
Just a minute with SSAS: (26:54 – 35:47 )
• Shipa Begum, gives a short message from the SSAS team (Student Success and Academic Skills team) informing students some of the activities the SSAS team will be running in the coming few weeks in Decemeber. Shipa also interviews Anita Fromm who informs us about a very useful service called - Study buddy Scheme.
