Harm Reduction Saves Lives
Description
Have you heard of harm reduction? Do you know what it is? If you do, or if you don't, you will want to listen to this eposide. I will try my best to explain it and will link you to some information on harm reduction as well as on what a managed alcohol program (MAP) is as it's one program that falls under the harm reduction umbrella and is controversial. Important to mention, the intention of MAP is not to replace abstinence based programs, as that does work for some, but as another option for those who may have tried that and it didn't work. Bottom line is, harm reduction saves lives!
