Has Cheating Become So Normal, That Women Expect Their Men To Cheat?

For the record, yes, women cheat too, I know. However, generally speaking, I think its safe to say that men cheat, or have cheated more. Where does this whole concept of cheating, even come from? Did our parents parents cheat as much as the modern day person? When did it change? Has it always been there, its just that due to the advancement of technology, we're able to see it more? Is cheating acceptable? Is it a forgone conclusion that men are gonna cheat? If so, have women just accepted this reality, and therefore has low expectations of monogamy?
