Description

Meet Dr. Haorui Wu! The Canada Research Chair in Resilience and an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work. In this episode we chat about building a culture of resilience: building a capacity for communities to prepare for, to respond to, to adapt to, and to recover from a disaster event. Dr. Wu is working to build community networks to coordinate community-based professionals to engage into the disaster response. Disasters are inevitable and building resilience to disasters is everyone’s responsibility. Look forward to conversations about turning water from the River Thames into Dasani, having an appetite for mindless eating, and building resorts!
