Heads in the Clouds; Feet on the Ground

Description
The eeriest thing happened in St. Albert on Thursday. The sun was blocked out by the smoke of wildfires north of us. Many of us spent considerable time staring at and talking about the sky that day, which is terribly ironic on a day that God directs our eyes to the skies as our source of hope.
Thursday was Ascension Day and Jesus' return to his rightful place at the right hand of his Father in heaven means that we have every reason to stare at the sky and wait for his return, but have just as many reasons to keep our feet planted firmly in the ground.
