About Peter
Peter Grainger is the Co-Founder of CaféPod, pioneers of Nespresso® compatible pods. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Peter moved to Dublin in his twenties and later settled in London. After working in hospitality and the financial sector at companies like Investec, Citigroup, and GLG Partners, Peter began to question his career during the 2008 financial crisis. This led him to travel through South and Central America, where he found inspiration for a new venture. In 2010, Peter teamed up with Brent Hadfield and Simon McWilliams to launch CaféPod, becoming the first UK brand to offer Nespresso-compatible pods. Today, CaféPod offers a range of products, including ground coffee and whole beans, empowering people to make great coffee at home.
