Belief and Unbelief are often pitted against one another. We’re inundated with thoughts, comments, sermons, and blog posts that tell of the evils of unbelief. We try to avoid unbelief at all costs.

But what if unbelief wasn’t an enemy to belief.

What if unbelief was actually an acknowledged part of the belief process. How differently would our prayers look if we embraced our unbelief and even brought it to Jesus to take care of?

In Mark 9:14-29 we read of a desperate father who needed a miracle from Jesus. His faith may have been looked down on by modern Christians, but he got exactly what he needed from Jesus. What was his secret?

He embraced his unbelief and he brought it to Jesus!
