How do you handle the “bad times?”

We all tend to hold onto the good times and try to avoid the bad times altogether. It’s human nature to avoid pain and suffering and to embrace joy and comfort.

In Mark 9:1-13 we read of Jesus showing his glory to 3 of his disciples on top of a mountain. This is commonly referred to as The Transfiguration. It was a powerful moment where the disciples got a preview of the Glory that is to come.

But Jesus didn’t stay on top of the mountain. He came back down and ultimately headed to The Cross. Today as we look at Mark 9:1-13 we’re going to see how important it is to cling to the right things as we look toward the Ultimate glory of eternity with Christ.
