Ho Leaf oil derives from the Hon Sho variety of camphor, which occurs mainly in Japan. He is distilled from the leaves and branches of the tree and thus does not smell much at all like camphor (which comes from the wood). Ho Leaf’s aroma is more like Rosewood, another popular essential oil that has become endangered due to over-harvesting. Ho Leaf is here to fill the space left open by Rosewood.
