Queen City...Springfield, Missouri.
Is a beautiful place...but why is it so beautiful.
Because my ancestors were the fertilizer.
The deep dark history STILL haunts this region just as the #OklahomaMassacre
#TheDevilsPunchBowl or the #PhiladelphiaBombing
"If this land could speak, it would cough up blood first."
We haven't come so far. And we're not that far removed from our history.
But to admit the truth is admitting their predecessors aren't the heros they've portrayed them to be.
