A quick and easy technique to instantly calm your mind. This is a special health-enhancing Breathing Pattern which is totally UNIQUE TO YOU and you alone!

Hi and welcome back, as always, it’s great to have you here!  I’m your host Marie O’Neil, creator of the highly transformative Complete Self-Help System For Overcoming DepressionOpens in a new tab. and the Author of How To Create A Depression-Free Life.





Now, it’s a fact that the moment we change our breathing pattern, we instantly change our chemical composition within.  This is simple chemistry.





We can either increase or decrease the amount of oxygen available to all of our cells, which instantly changes our internal and external state.





With just a little awareness, we can see and feel that when we get stressed, anxious, or angry or breathing rhythm changes. We’re no longer calm, we’re in a heightened state.





Now, if you’ve watched my FREE MASTERCLASS: Discover How To Rapidly Overcome Depression By Effectively Treating The Root Cause, you’ll know this heightened state as the activation of your Survival Centre.  The centre which, after prolonged exposure, can rapidly lead you straight into the jaws of depression. Which is not what we want!





So, how can we change this?





How do we rapidly shift ourselves out of an undesirable state, such as; anger or anxiety and into a state which eases the tension, soothes our entire body-mind system, and calms our mind?





Well, it’s by discovering your very own “Unique Breathing Pattern”.





That’s right!  Just like you have your very own personal set of finger prints which are totally unique to you, you also have a unique breathing pattern, that once tapped into can help keep your entire body-mind system healthy, strong and resilient.





So how can you tap into your Unique Breathing Pattern? 





Well, it’s as easy as 1-2-3.





STEP 1: FIND YOUR PULSE





Is to simply place your two fingers on your wrist to find your pulse. This can be easily found by placing your two right fingers onto your left wrist and feeling in the area that’s just left of our central veins. There’s usually a slight groove just past the middle line of our wrist, gently press in there and feel for your pulse.





STEP 2: DISCOVER THE RHYTHM OF YOUR PULSE





Is to simply discover the rhythm of your pulse, recognise its timing. To make this easier, as you follow your pulse count in sets of four. So, bom…bom…bom…bom…1…2…3…4…1…2…3…4… 





Now, once you’ve got your personal pulse rhythm, the 3rd and final step is to….





STEP 3: BREATHE IN ALIGNMENT WITH THIS RHYTHM





So, breathe in through your nose for the first count of four, and exhale through your nose to the second count of four, so, breathe in 1,2,3,4 and out, 1,2,3,4. 





Continue following your Unique Breathing Pattern until you feel your system calm down and de-stress. 





And, take special note to drop your shoulders whilst doing this.





Allow your entire system to just relax and follow your Unique Breathing Pattern.





Now, if you’re in a highly anxious state, you’re unwell or your pulse rate is fast for any reason, then don’t leave this at a count of four, extend it to a longer breath. Simply complete this technique in say, blocks of 6, 7 or even 8 counts.  The count itself does not matter, so please don’t get hung up on any numbers.





The key is to align your breathing with the rhythm of your unique system!





Each time, you complete this technique of following your Unique Breathing Pattern and aligning with your unique system, take note of how many rounds it takes to calm and de-stress yourself.  Because, you just might discover…





The more times you do it, the more quickly you’re able to calm, soothe and de-stress your entire body-mind system





And, the best part about following Your Unique Breathing Pattern is that unlike a vast majority of other breathing techniques out there, which ask you to unnaturally force, hold or extend your breath in a way which is uncomfortable for you and your body, this technique doesn’t. 





It’s simply asks you to listen to your unique body and bring yourself into alignment with it, so you can quickly and effectively transform your entire body-mind system.





It’s about giving you the keys to transform or rapidly shift yourself out of an undesirable state, such as anger, or anxiety and into a healthier state of being, which eases the tension, soothes your entire body-mind system and calms your mind





And, it’s about doing it rapidly and naturally!





You can’t ask for better than that, right?! 😉
