Michael Harris has a conversation with Host Michael Dickerson about career development and preparing students for the workplace. He shared some great insight about how to develop leadership skills and what it takes to discover your field of interest. Michael also gave great insight about how employers look at social media to judge hiring future employees.
Michael Harris is a Career Consultant and works as a Career Development Specialist for the Tulsa Community College. With over 25 years in post-secondary education, he has served in several roles within student affairs, enrollment, fundraising, training, research and outreach. In addition, he is the current Regional African American Knowledge Community Coordinator for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and recently started a term as the Community Relations Chair for the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association.
