How You Start Your Day Will Affect The Rest Of Your Day
Description
How you start your day will affect the rest of your day. This is what I learned for constantly waking up early. I’m gonna share with you some tips for you to be more productive and a morning person.
I used to wake up late in the morning and I realized that I need more time for me to do my tasks.
Set your alarm
I set my alarm to 4:00 in the morning although I am not really consistent with it. However, most of the time I can get up early in the morning around 4’oclock. Then I get myself done then start working. I do believe that how you start your day will be the main factor in how you take advantage of the rest of your day.
If you win the first two hours, which is the most critical hours of your day, it will be helpful for you to overcome and be a winner throughout the day.
This is why I set my alarm and build a system so that I won’t be out of track whenever I feel lazy. So, I created a schedule for myself.
I set the first things that I need to do during the first 30 minutes after waking up. For instance, I take a shower, get dressed, and prepare for the next task. Then I start reading a book or an article, or just listen to an audiobook for 30 minutes. Remember that reading a book will help you acquire more knowledge and get you pumped up with the next tasks that you need to do.
Then after 30 minutes of reading, I prepare myself and make a podcast and record it. I only make one podcast per day, which will take around ten to twenty-five minutes. This will help me organize and set a schedule for the podcast to go live.
I also set a timer for recording podcasts. This will help me to be on schedule. Otherwise, I will be eating up the rest of the time that I allotted for making videos. After recording a podcast, I start shooting videos and sometimes I can make a one-take video in fifteen minutes. If I have more time, then I take more videos on top of my one video per day goal.
Win the day
After that, I start making breakfast and that’s how I start my day. It feels like I already won the rest of the day even it’s only seven or eight in the morning. I feel that I have done the big things that I am tasked for the day.
Once I have knocked my tasks down, I become more productive and more motivated to do my tasks for the day. That’s how I win the day. That’s how I make a lot of things that will take other people to finish and complete it in one way.
That is why I am really trying to strictly follow the schedule. Whatever works for you is fine, but this is how it works for me. It took me a lot of time to figure out to keep changing the schedule and organizing things on how it’s going to work for me.
For yourself, try to imagine what will be the structure for the day and the things that you want to accomplish for the day. Figure out the big tasks that you need to finish first so you can be more productive on the other things. Your day will easier as soon as you knock down the big tasks for the day.
That’s how I structure my day. After that, I feel very motivated and a winner.
Just try to jot down the things that work for you.
