In this episode, fitness enthusiast, model, and active-duty Navy Lieutenant Jarred Reid-Dixon joins Kellie to share how proactively incorporating self-care into your military lifestyle can help you manage stress, maintain balance, and enhance overall effectiveness in your duties, both on deployment and ashore.

Jarred talks about integrating self-care practices into daily routines and encourages accountability by engaging in wellness activities with your peers — whether that’s working out together, attending mindfulness sessions, or finding group hobbies that build camaraderie and connection.

A 2017 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in economics, Jarred commissioned as a Supply Corps Officer before laterally transferring to the Public Affairs community. Since then, he’s served as Assistant Public Affairs Officer for Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet; Public Affairs Officer for the USS Makin Island (LHD 8), USS Anchorage (LPD 23), and USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26); and Director of Media Operations for San Francisco Fleet Week.

This episode captures why Kellie continues to #DoBoth, advocating for strength and self-care, leadership and balance, and how you can feel empowered to #DoBoth too.
