Step 1: Solve a Real Problem (Even if You’re Not an Expert)

You don’t need to be a bestselling author or niche guru to write an ebook. You just need to solve a pokey, painful problem for someone.

Ask yourself: What’s something you’ve figured out that others still struggle with?

🎁 Grab my free AI Ebook Prompt Generator to help you brainstorm and outline your idea in under 3 hours.

Step 2: Validate Before You Write

Before you type a single word, make sure people will pay for your idea.

✅ Search your topic on Amazon or Etsy
✅ Look for bestsellers and products with strong reviews
✅ If others are selling similar ebooks—you’re on the right track

Remember, people pay for results. So focus on solving one problem fast.

Step 3: Write a Short, Powerful eBook (10–30 Pages)

Your ebook doesn’t need to be long. In fact, shorter is better if it delivers transformation.

Structure it like this:

  • Start with the problem your reader is facing
  • End with the result they want
  • Break it down into 5–7 actionable steps

Use tools like ChatGPT and my AI prompts to expand your ideas and write quickly—while keeping your voice and personality intact. Remember: people buy you, not just your content.

Step 4: Design It Fast (Even If You’re Not a Designer)

Designing your ebook should take minutes, not days.

🎨 Use our free Canva ebook template or search Canva for “ebook templates.”

✔ Add your content, swap fonts and colors
✔ Use stock photos if needed
✔ Include a final page with a strong call-to-action

Pro tip: Don’t over-design. Clarity sells better than fluff.

Step 5: Set Up Your Sales Page and Start Selling (for Free)

Here’s where most people get stuck: tech. Payment processors, sales pages, delivery… It’s a lot.

That’s why we built MiloTree.

With the MiloTree Free Plan, you can:

  • Upload your ebook
  • Auto-deliver it to customers
  • Instantly generate a sales page
  • Connect your Stripe account and start selling
  • Run discounts and upsells without breaking your flow

Step 6: Turn One eBook into a Whole Business

Don’t stop with one product. Use your ebook as the base of your digital product ladder:

  1. Freebie – a checklist, cheat sheet, or worksheet to grow your email list
  2. Ebook – a low-cost, high-value product
  3. Bundle – add templates, guides, or printables
  4. Workshop – host a live or recorded training session
  5. Coaching – offer personalized support
  6. Membership – provide ongoing value and earn recurring revenue

Each step builds on the last, solving the same problem at deeper levels—so you can charge more and create bigger transformations.
