Description

How do people fail to learn from history? Why do people make the same mistakes as in the past? We look at the Russian-Japanese War as it preludes the tactics used in early WW1. We examine the lessons learnt by the European and American observers in the Russo-Japanese War and how it shaped WW1.

Music: On the Hills of Manchuria (1909 instrumental version) performed by the 1st Grenadier Artillery Brigade’s orchestra, entered in to the public domain of the Russian Federation and United States.
