Jeff Sutherland is the inventor and co-creator of Scrum and Scrum@Scale. He is a West Point graduate with a background as a pilot and cancer researcher. He has held the position of CTO or head of development in several software companies and startups. In 1993, Sutherland launched the first Scrum team. He is the author of many books, including "Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time."
