Across the country, many of the workers who are personal care aids for people with disabilities
are immigrants. In Massachusetts, 30% of caregivers are foreign-born. Not only do the helpers provide care, they also give residents a little bit of the culture they brought from home — especially when it comes to a Thanksgiving feast. From GBH in Boston, Meghan Smith reports.
