In the seventeenth episode of our second series, we have a very special episode, where we have an in depth discussion with Brent Peters; Manager of Bacup Borough Football Club and the worlds longest serving football manager.

In this episode Brent shares his story which lead him to Bacup Borough and what has kept him at the club for the last 26 years. He also shares many of his opinions around managing within football and the environment itself. With his tenure spanning such a large time, Brent has a wealth of experience and has witnessed the changing environment of the English football league and non-league system.

Brent has a passion for football and his honesty around his approaches is refreshing, many of his stories and anecdotes have such a wealth of insights and lesson which we can all learn from and apply to any field of leadership.

This conversation was such a privilege and Brent gave us such a no holds barred insight into his story and his views on the field where he plies his trade. Brent shares with us the sacrifices which he had to make to save the football club; both financially and with his career in the game.
