Well today we bring you Part 2, to talk about the even darker side of childhood sexual assualt that is often relegated to the shadows: incest. My guest today is a longtime friend who is ready to tell her story. We get a chance to hear her survivor story, and how she’s worked to make sense of her abuse over the years.
I wanted today’s show to also be a place of healing for my guest and anyone else who might be a survivor of assault and incest, so I invited along Dr. Ismahan Soukeyna Diop, a Psychological Clinician, Professor, and Researcher with the University Cheikh Anta Diop here in Dakar, Senegal.
