Welcome to Morning with Madi. In this episode, I am joined by Agnes Hjalmarsson from Sweden. I came across Agnes’ artwork last week on Instagram and was amazed at how her work resonated with me. The video that caught my eye, and many others, shows Agnes’ depictions of people who frequented the grocery store Agnes used to work at. Many others and myself were impressed with Agnes’ ability to capture each person’s humanity and essence. In our conversation, Agnes shares how she started working with different media, her creative process, and the influences of her lived experience in her work.
