Alexandra Mayers poses the question:
"Is it ETHICAL for legal professionals (such as practicing lawyers & attorneys) to simultaneously work, be employed as or act as PORNOGRAPHERS?"
Several years ago when Alexandra Mayers was an active adult entertainment industry actress, she was booked for an adult content project in which a lawyer known as Michael Fattorosi was present on set. Throughout the day of that production Alexandra was under the impression Michael Fattorosi was a pornographer rather than a practicing attorney (especially considering that he performed the duties of a pornographer or a pornographer'' assistant that day).
It wasn't until some time later that Alexandra Mayers learned that Fattorosi was not only a lawyer, but a lawyer who has been instrumental in the continued operation of a racist and homophobic online hate crime linked to Donny Long aka Donald Carlos Seoane (which has extensively targeted Alexandra Mayers and her family along with hundreds of other individuals).
Should a practicing lawyer such as Michael Fattorosi be disbarred on the grounds of fraud (unethical behavior)? Should lawyers in general be allowed to practice law while actively producing adult content considering how closely intertwined the pornography industry is with organized crime (namely sex and human trafficking)?
