Jake Carter, finalist for the 2019 Apprentice of the Year Award, talks with Scott Cam about the choice to dive into a mature-age apprenticeship in order to prepare for his future as an electrician.
Jake, who has taken on a leading hand role at work, has come full circle by training a new apprentice. He is full of praise for the flexibility of the VET system and how it accommodates for people from of all different walks of life.
