The author did a great job. I would love to read more books from this author. I found it very helpful and I definitely recommend it to everybody who needs to learn Java fast!

Well done!
This is a well written little Java book. It goes into detail about the background and history of Java, and follows up by explaining some of the functions of Java and how to use them. The author provides a step-by-step guide at the end to build a simple program. There's plenty for beginners here, but not enough to overwhelm them with information. Well done!
