Showers, thunderstorms and severe weather are likely as the front passes. Other areas of severe weather tonight are occuring over the Central Gulf States. Drier air returns later Thursday and Friday into the Northeast. Another cold front sets up for showers and thunderstorms in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic over the weekend. Severe weather shifts back into the Plains Tonight as well as Thursday and Friday.
