Erin could pass close to the Northern Leewards and then pass just to the east of the easternmost Bahamas before recurving to the northeast into the Atlantic. Scattered thunderstorms continue in the Mid Atlantic states this evening and tonight. Very warm and mostly humid conditions will continue Friday into Sunday in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic.
