Description
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking new members for its Measure M Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee. The committee, which oversees spending from a special transportation sales tax, has two open spots for a retired federal or state judge and a licensed architect or engineer. The committee, formed in 2016, ensures that funds are used as voters intended, with members having the opportunity to use their professional skills to oversee public spending on transportation. Applications are currently being accepted.
