Description

Olympic gold medalist and Best Setter at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Jordyn Poulter has been a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team since 2018. She played professionally in Italy for four years and twice earned All-American honors at the University of Illinois. After making her second Olympic appearance at Paris 2024, Jordyn will lead LOVB Salt Lake once the season starts this winter. She and Tiffany Oshinsky discuss Jordyn’s introduction to volleyball, experience winning gold with Team USA (and later losing it when someone stole the medal out of her car), and teaching herself to play piano while at Illinois.

Chapters include:

  • Growing up with the game
  • Returning to Illinois for college
  • Poulter the self-taught pianist
  • Intro to the national team and pro volleyball
  • Winning the gold medal in Tokyo (and getting it stolen at home)
  • “Gnarly” injury and lonely recovery
  • Leaving a legacy through LOVB
