Uk: Сніг покрив землю в зоні відчуження Чорнобиля.
En: Snow covered the ground in the Chornobyl exclusion zone.
Uk: Це було місце, якого майже всі уникали.
En: It was a place that almost everyone avoided.
Uk: Але Оксану ця земля тягнула, як магніт.
En: But Oksana felt drawn to this land like a magnet.
Uk: Вона була журналісткою, якій не давала спокою цікавість.
En: She was a journalist whose curiosity would not let her rest.
Uk: Оксана чула про дивні вогні і звуки, що з’являються в спорожнілому місті Прип'ять.
En: Oksana had heard about the strange lights and sounds appearing in the abandoned city of Prypiat.
Uk: І зараз, на передодні Нового року, вона вирішила дізнатися правду.
En: And now, on the eve of the New Year, she decided to find out the truth.

En: Prypiat greeted them with darkness, only the moon illuminated the way.

En: Everything was quiet, only the snow creaked underfoot.
Uk: Однак раптом, коли вони дісталися центру міста, вогні загорілися.
En: However, suddenly, when they reached the city center, lights turned on.
