Description
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. Women are generally encouraged to do a monthly self-examination and annual mammograms. A breast cancer diagnosis is not the kind of news any woman wants to receive from the doctor. But if they do, it is a relief to know it is not a death sentence. Although we have lost so many women to breast cancer, many women have survived this dreaded disease. My guest today, Julie Davis, is a survivor and she will share her story with us.
