Nick Berberian describes some of the key elements of threat management and takes us through a fascinating case that he managed that has many learning points.  Nick also discusses his development of the Incursus tool for managing threat cases and how technology can be a force multiplier for threat asessors and managers.


Nick Berberian is the Founder/CEO of Incursus Threat Management, the current Vice President for the Northern California Chapter of ATAP, and served as the Head of Physical Security and Emergency Management for AAA Insurance. He is a Certified Threat Manager, a Certified Protection Professional, and a Personal Protection Specialist. Mr. Berberian has over 20 years of international experience in security services as well as disaster relief and emergency response services, including Rapid Intervention Teams, and over 10 years dedicated to Threat Management. He has presented to the Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council, the American Society for Industrial Security, and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. He holds a master’s degree from the American Military University and is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
