Description

Red teaming and penetration testing have long been a key component of cybersecurity programs, but adoption of this method in the physical security arena is less common. Our guest for the podcast James Mason discusses breaching physical security and how an adversarial approach can help prepare organizations to better defend against real world threats. After a strong sales career spanning almost three decades, James fell into InfoSec accidentally and found a passion that quickly took off. In 2013 James began working at QinetiQ alongside a Red Team with a record of having never ben caught while carrying out a project. James joined this team and quickly progressed. He is proud that to date he has never been caught while on a client assignment. He has successfully infiltrated some of the world's largest banks, insurance companies, law firms, critical national infrastructure and other sensitive environments. James can be reached at jmmason1@QinetiQ.com.
