Description

This week we discuss how Jesus taught his disciples to pray and its far reaching implications.  Jesus makes it known that in the Kingdom we can approach God as Father and Friend, that by seeking the Kingdom our needs will be met, and that learning and embodying a posture of forgiveness is required for our citizenship in his Kingdom.  Also in this section of Luke we see Jesus challenged by critics as to where his power comes from to exorcise demons.  Jesus's response results in a woman's affirmation that he both accepts and challenges as he continues to redefine family in the context of the Kingdom of God.
