Lost vampire with a beautiful heart-
Tiva, had no apps- rarely even a phone. I don't think she knew the latest news. Or for that matter, even what day or year it was.
When I first met her/ it took 4 days before I even heard from her again. Then it was all those endless, beautiful night with her in the oddest and most sublime rooms. Rooms, that were always empty, always full of never-ending moonlight.
Then she would decide for us to go out. To a dance hall or techno place. It was always half past midnight. And when she danced or moved...it electrified people, to no end. Her musical tastes were out of this world. As if she was from some other planet or missing place. . . in time and space. And when she danced or moved...it electrified people, to no end.
And then there was her way of writing and speaking. That could make reality go out of whack and change things completely and endlessly.
Then she'd suddenly go missing for days and weeks on end. Had this strange way of hiding almost everything about herself, unless she wanted you to see her again. See her outright. See her, hidden in stars and dark spaces. You couldn’t see her, even if she was right front of you. But once you discovered, she was standing there. She came out of hiding. And then she took you home and bit down, kindly and directly to the heart. And yeah, you were never the same again. Especially if she kept biting.
I keep expecting to see her again, as I often did ...under some streetlight. Or hidden in darkness of endless midnight shadows, seeing the bright glow of her beautiful cigarette, like some, cherry red, lost radio station calling out to me. . . to tune her in. To tune her in.
I always did.
I stopped my big blue car to pick her up and take her home once again.
Yeah, I must have fallen in love with her a thousand different times and places.
Now. . .a year and half later. I just keep driving around looking for you. over and over. All night long. Because, I know you never died. I know. . . you never died.
