Description

Charlotte, Charlie, and Millie tackle the tricky subject of managing conflict in nanny roles.

Even in the happiest positions, disagreements can arise — and that’s perfectly normal.

Conflict doesn’t necessarily mean it’s time to end the partnership; often, it’s simply time for an honest, calm conversation before any resentment builds.

The discussion covers:

  • How to stay professional when things don’t go the way you hoped.
  • When to ride out the storm — knowing your family and recognising when external factors, like stress at their work, might be influencing their behaviour.
  • How to handle things gracefully if termination becomes unavoidable — maintaining professionalism and integrity through your notice period.
  • Why expressing your feelings and experiences helps employers grow and become better bosses.

Dear Charlotte’s DMs

Hi Girls really live the podcast. I work in one of those communal garden squares in London. All the children that play in this garden end up coming into my Nanny family's house and they end up playing and none of the other nannies or parents ever reciprocate. I am resentful and I am burnt out at taking care of all the other people’s children.
