Morning trading at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange shows a mixed bag of results. December twenty-five and February twenty-six contracts are down, with the former dropping by $2.70 and the latter by $1.25. January twenty-six and March twenty-six contracts are also declining, with the latter down by $3.45. However, February twenty-six and April twenty-six contracts are seeing gains, up by $1.25 and $0.13 respectively. Estimated sales vary, with some around 15,470 and others much lower at 6,846. Yesterdays sales were significantly higher, indicating a slower start to trading today. The market is volatile, with some commodities gaining while others lose ground.
