Hazardous Weather Outlook. This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of northern. western. central. and southern Oklahoma. and western north Texas. Day one. Today and Tonight. Thunderstorms. There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms for most locations today. Scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day with the highest potential for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Additional thunderstorms may affect western Oklahoma and adjacent parts of western north Texas during the overnight hours. The primary hazards will be wind gusts to 60 mph, up to quarter size hail, and locally heavy rainfall that may lead to flooding. Days two through seven. Tuesday through Sunday. Thunderstorms. Thunderstorms remain possible through Friday. The highest chance for widespread thunderstorms begins on Wednesday and is forecast to persist through early Friday. After Friday, the next chance for thunderstorms is Saturday night into Sunday. Heavy Rainfall and Flooding. Heavy rainfall will be possible through the period, especially Wednesday into Thursday.
