Hazardous Weather Outlook. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest Iowa. west central Iowa. east central Nebraska. northeast Nebraska and southeast Nebraska. Day one. Today and Tonight. Non-severe thunderstorms are likely through the morning hours across much of the area. Brief heavy downpours and frequent lightning will be the main hazards. Additional thunderstorms are possible overnight into Tuesday morning. Flooding continues along the Missouri River from the inflow into Lewis and Clark reservoir, along the South Dakota/Nebraska and portions of the Nebraska/Iowa borders into Missouri. Minor flooding is also ongoing along portions of the Big Blue River in southeast Nebraska. Days two through seven. Tuesday through Sunday. Thunderstorms chances continue through much of this week. AIt appears the best chance for severe storms will be Tuesday evening generally south of the I-80 corridor. Flooding will continue along the Missouri River from the South Dakota/Nebraska border south into Missouri. Flooding also will continue along the Big Blue near Crete and West Fork of the Big Blue near Dorchester through Tuesday. Spotter information statement.
