Hold onto your surfboards because we're looking at some monster waves! Most coastal areas are expecting surf heights around 10 to 11 feet - that's seriously epic. The northwest region near Aguadilla might even see waves pushing 12 feet, while Culebra could experience a wild 13-foot swell on Monday.
Rip current risk is extremely high across most beaches, so swimmers and water enthusiasts need to exercise extreme caution. Life-threatening currents are likely, especially around rocky areas like jetties and reefs.

San Juan, Northeast Puerto Rico, North Central areas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are all under a High Surf Advisory until 6 AM Monday. The good news? The waves will start calming down midweek, dropping to around 4-6 feet by Wednesday and Thursday.
