PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Mountain Grove Panthers' head coach Brandon Rogers to get his thoughts following the Panthers' heartbreaking loss on the road against the Eagles last night. The Panthers had a chance to win the game before failing on the game-deciding two-point conversion.
Coach Rogers discusses his mindset and the fact that if he could have the play over again, he would do the exact same thing. The loss last night is now the second time this season that Mountain Grove has lost a ball game by just one point; the first came in Week 2 at Caruthersville.
Mountain Grove now sit at 2-4 on the season as they will return home for the next two weeks. The Panthers will host the Tigers of Salem High School and look to record their first win in the month of October.
