PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Willow Spring head football coach Brandon Rogers to get his thoughts following the Panthers' bounce-back, shutout win over the Bears of Willow Springs High School. The Panthers won in impressive fashion, 20-0 to improve to 2-2 on the season.
After being shutout last week at Ava (14-0), the Panthers bounced back with a shutout of their own. The 20-point victory leaves the Panthers at .500 through the first four weeks of the season. A one-point loss at Caruthersville is the only thing that stands between Mountain Grove and 3-1 record.
The Panthers will hit the road next Friday to do battle with the Bulldogs of Cabool High School.
