Description

When using homeopathy for the first time, one often is not sure how the process works.  Making a follow up appointment is the next thing to do after the initial intake for your chronic state.  If you had an acute or first aid consult then a follow up may not be needed, but if your first appointment covered your constitutional remedy then you need to make a follow up appointment to confirm the remedy and go through how the body is doing with the remedy and what your next steps are going to be. How long after the initial intake depends on how many repeats of the remedy were suggested, how many returns of old symptoms you have had, and whether or not a new symptom appeared that needs to be addressed. As an individualized system of medicine any  protocols or plans can change as you begin to see what and  how your body is responding to your remedy.  Making a follow up is essential to see the process through at the start of your healing journey, and as the body continues healing itself through the months and years ahead. I recommend you listen to narrative 146 on the process for new patients, as well as episode 116 on common concepts and misconceptions in homeopath and lastly the episode on how to explain your symptoms to your homeopath which is narrative 141.
