The NFL is claiming to be extremely concerned about gambling. Earlier this week...the NFL explained to Congress that the league is concerned about prediction markets being operated in states where gambling hasn't been legalized. The NFL claims to be concerned with the lack of oversight...but we believe the NFL is actually concerned about the lack of revenue.
We discuss the NFL concern with prediction markets...and explain why the NFL only cares about the revenue it's not receiving. We discuss the negative impact gambling has had on sports...and question why the NFL and NBA continue to embrace gambling.
