In this revolutionary episode, I call out the narcissistic pattern in leadership by reflecting on the ways that we naturally are drawn to this type of leadership. We are drawn to the person with the most charisma, even (and especially) if the charisma is suspiciously high. We assume that the best leaders are the impervious leaders who never lose, never fall down, and always know the right thing to say. We are drawn to the person who claims to have all the answers to our deepest insecurities. A lot of these patterns can leave us susceptible to gravitating toward narcissistic partnerships whether we are fully aware or not.
