Newborn abandoned at Canberra fire station

Description
A newborn baby, believed to have been delivered in the last 24 hours, was abandoned outside South Tuggeranong Fire Station in Canberra and found just after 7am. Paramedics transported the uninjured child to hospital while police are urgently appealing for the mother to contact emergency services for health and welfare support.
