Dr. Edward Tingley discusses Nietzsche's critique of "Enlightenment" ethics, his proposed answer to them and the implications thereof. Part 1 of 2.


Dr. Edward Tingley holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa (1995) and a B.A. in Art History from Carleton University (1978). Dr. Tingley has spoken on topics in philosophy and ethics (rights of conscience, Aristotelian ethics, Nietzsche, Alasdair MacIntyre, etc.) and in art and culture (the Gothic cathedral, art and the Gospel, modern art, cultural decay). Currently he is the the dean of Augustine College in Ottowa, Canada where he has taught since 2006. Dr. Tingley has published occasional articles in Touchstone and First Things.
