Description
Many of the songs on the album, “Beauty Will Rise” are inspired by the accidental death of Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter, Maria Sue Chunxi Chapman. Chapman describes how each song was related to the grieving process that he and his family went through after she died. Each song is an expression of grief, but most especially the hope that carries one through suffering and inexplicable trauma.
