Description
Nvidia is developing software to track its AI chips locations, amid concerns of smuggling into China. The new technology, set to debut with Blackwell chips, monitors computing performance and communication delays to determine geographical position. Despite reports of Chinese AI models trained with smuggled Nvidia chips, Nvidia denies such allegations. The U.S. government recently approved Nvidias sale of older H two hundred AI chips to China, but Blackwell series remains under stricter export controls.
